For this reason, management develop and adopt some approaches for continuous quality improvement within the organization. The organization then assesses its performance in this regard by different self-assessment programs. One of them is Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Baldrige model involves seven interrelated categories that include leadership, strategic planning, focus on customers, knowledge management (including measurement and analysis), workforce, operations, and results. In addition, the model works under the organizational profile that involves environment, relationships and strategic situations. This program has an international influence and has become a basis for some international quality awards.
