This means that quality improvement/management is a part of project management. A quality policy is a document that states the quality objectives, responsible employees for achieving the quality objectives and acceptable quality level of the organization. Quality policy is developed by the quality experts of the organization and the top management should support it to get benefited from it. Quality policy is executed by the middle managers while its implementation is the responsibility of the top management. A quality policy should promote consistency across the organization, provide guidelines to the organization regarding quality issues, provide the organization's view of quality to others etc.
