Ethical Behavior Notes:
Project team members must show ethical behavior during the project. Ethical behavior shows doing things that are consistent with the society and the organizational values. Showing ethical behavior proves to be good for the organization or a project. Ethical behavior also involves doing the right thing even if no one else is doing it in that situation. Ethical behavior is important in order to have good business relationship with customer, subcontractors/consultants, and suppliers. For example, if an employee does not come back to work on time after lunch break because the boss was not present that day, his/her behavior is unethical. Examples of values involved in ethical behavior are honesty, truth, equality, fairness, dignity etc.
