Data tables, or data arrays, provide a systematic method for collecting and displaying data.

Data Table Notes:
In order to control quality, the processes are focused. It is considered that the products become non-confirming due to incapable and unstable processes. To monitor the processes' capability and stability, statistical tools and techniques are generally used. These are termed as statistical process control (SPC). For statistical process control, a collective term of seven tools of quality is used which include a number of tools. One of the seven tools is called data tables. To control processes, data regarding the processes must be collected. The collected data is represented in a systematic way using data table. Data tables are also called data arrays. Data tables efficiently and consistently display the data for proper representation and analysis.
