Enthalpy Change Notes:
The heat change that accompanies a chemical reaction when pressure and volume are kept constant is called enthalpy change. The amount of heat absorbed or evolved during a chemical reaction is known by enthalpy change. It is denoted by ΔH. Enthalpy change has different types depending on the nature of reaction. These types are, heat of formation, heat of neutralization, heat of solution and heat of combustion. Enthalpy change is the heat that passes into or out of the system in a reaction.
