Central Nervous System Notes:
In central nervous system, the process is involved in the coordination of the messages that travels through the nervous system. As central nervous system (CNS) is made up of neutrons, detecting a stimulus received by a receptor, which sends an electrical impulse towards the brain or spinal cord. For instance, if some one's hand touches a hot place, it quickly responds and an impulse is picked up through sensory receptor that is being present in our fingers. These sensory receptors are known as sensory neurons, that passes an impulse on to different neurons, termed as relay neurons. The reaction against an act and contraction of muscles that our hand is pulled away is, named as, "reflex action". Furthermore, relay neuron, motor neuron, and sensory neuron is calles a "reflex arc".
