Polyribosomes Notes:

A polyribosome is a complex of an mRNA molecule and two or more ribosomes that act to translate mRNA instructions into polypeptides. Sometimes several ribosomes work in conjunction for protein translation. This ensure efficient translation and moreover, several copies of protein being made from one mRNA at one time. The proteins that are needed in abundance are usually translated this way.
