Superordinate goals surpass the individual needs or objectives of team members and focus on achieving the goals of the team, which in turn fulfil the objectives of the overall organization/project. The leader of the team must be competent enough to make the team members understand the importance of superordinate goals and the team must made efforts in achieving these goals.
