One way of expanding the target market to international one is licensing. Licensing allows a firm to give copy rights of its specific product designs to another foreign firm in order to sell them in a restricted market. The products sold will be of same design but with a different brand/trademark. In this way, companies can reach out to international markets without actually getting involves in an international supply chain.
