International trade has gained its importance for the past few years. It is important to become diverse in business not only in products but also in market. One way of expanding the target market to international one is licensing. Licensing allows a firm to give copy rights of its specific product designs to another foreign firm in order to sell them in a restricted market. The products sold will be of same design but with a different brand/trademark. In this way, companies can reach out to international markets without actually getting involves in an international supply chain.
