Cuscore Control Chart Notes:
Cuscore is the short form of cumulative score. Cuscore ?Q? can generally be calculated as the summation of et0 rt. In this formula, et0 are the residuals from in-control process while rt are the detectors which show the rate of change of the in-control residuals in the out of control situations. The charts that use Cuscore statistics are called Cuscore charts. Cuscore was proposed by Box and Ramirez in 1992 as a statistical process control technique. Cuscore charts can be used to detect signals. They are normally used as supplementary tools to monitor and control processes in situations where a specific problem might occur in the process in addition to usual types of disturbances.
