Warranty Charges Definition:

Warranty Charges Notes:

Costs of quality are divided into three classes or categories. One of the category is related to the costs when the product fails. This can happen both within the organization or after the product is shipped to the customer. To prevent losing customers on the basis of non-conforming products, organizations provide warranties to the customers for particular products. The warranties are usually provided for technical products. These warranties cover all the costs that incur when a product fails and needs maintenance or repair. The organization pays all the repair and maintenance costs in these cases. These costs are called warranty costs/charges.
