Meetings are conducted to communicate with everyone involved in the project. There are different types of meetings conducted throughout the project. One of them is called status review meeting. A status review meeting is conducted on a regular basis by the project manager and the meeting members may include all or key project team members, subcontractors/consultants and sometimes customer. The purpose of a status review meeting is to discuss the status of the project, the potential problems and making corrective action plans for the potential problems. The agenda items of a status review meeting include accomplishments since last meeting, status, forecast, variance and trends of scope, schedule, and cost, risk assessment and corrective actions.
