In response to the buyer's request, the sellers submit a formal document outlining their capabilities to perform or provide the required while being cost-effective. This formal written document is called seller proposal. A seller proposal is a very important document that must be prepared carefully because it is used by the buyer to evaluate the seller. A seller proposal can either focus on price or technical performance. The choice of the appropriate seller proposal to be submitted is based on the buyer's requirements. The seller proposals are evaluated by the buyer according to a specific selection criteria which determines the seller that best fulfills the requirements.
