Project Scope Notes:

A project scope involves all the work that is related to the project that must be completed in order to provide the agreed deliverables to customer. Completing the project scope according to the pre-defined acceptance criteria results in a satisfied customer. Project scope is also called work scope. For example, in introduction of a new pharmaceutical drug in the market, the trial experiments, identifying the optimal levels of ingredients, and packaging and distribution of the drug all come under the project scope. Quality in the project scope/work scope is must. In the new drug example, even if the drug is successfully distributed (project scope completed) but the mixing of the ingredients is not proper, the customer will not be satisfied.
