Voting Notes:
During a project, decisions are to be made at every step. Different tools and techniques can be used for decision making based on the situation. One way of making decisions is voting. Voting is a tool that enables to make decisions collectively. Voting is done when a number of alternatives are available and the decision is made by assessing these alternatives. There are three ways to perform voting. One is called unanimity based on which all the group members reach consensus on the same decision. The second technique is called majority. As the name indicates, this type of voting technique considers that decision which is supported by more than 50% group members. The third one is called plurality based on which the decision is made when the largest block (not necessarily majority) in a group supports a single alternative.
