The requirements of the project must be determined and communicated. To identify the requirements, data should be gathered. There are several ways to gather information/data regarding project requirements. One of them is called questionnaires (also called surveys). Questionnaires are like a written form, having questions related to the requirements. These are used when data is to be collected/gathered from a large group of people. When the respondents are diverse or living in different geographical locations, questionnaires are used to gather data. Questionnaires are used to easily and quickly collect required information and statistical tools can be applied to the data of the questionnaires to obtain results.
