Logistic support is defined as the process of maintaining and repairing the project deliverables after they are provided to the customer. Logistic support covers all the services needed for the deliverables throughout their life cycle. Logistic support is an important aspect of material projects. Material projects are the projects that provide physical deliverables to the customers. Logistic support involves two variables. One of them is called supportability. The parameter of supportability is related to the identification and procurement of needed resources to provide support to the deliverables. Supportability refers to the ability of a material system to meet the support logistic requirements.
