Attribution Theory Notes:
As indicated by the 'attribution hypothesis' it is typical for individuals to search for clarifications or causes - that can be credited to their own prosperity or disappointment. A presumption of the attribution hypothesis is that individuals will translate their condition so as to keep up a positive mental self portrait. Attribution hypothesis is worried about how people decipher occasions and how this identifies with their reasoning and conduct. People are spurred to allot causes to their activities and practices. In social brain research, attribution is the procedure by which people clarify the reasons for conduct and occasions. Models to clarify this procedure are called attribution hypothesis. Attribution hypothesis can be connected to attendant basic leadership. Members of the jury use attributions to clarify the reason for the respondent's expectation and activities identified with the criminal conduct. The attribution made (situational or dispositional) might influence a legal hearer's reformative nature towards the litigant.
