Control Quality is the process of monitoring and recording results of executing the quality management activities in order to assess performance and ensure the project outputs are complete, correct, and meet customer expectations.

Control Quality Notes:
It is important to consider quality of project deliverables in project management in addition to the time and cost. For this reason, quality management plan is made for a project and quality management activities are performed to keep the project within the defined quality standards. The quality management activities and their results must be monitored to check if the project outcomes are of high quality and according to the customer requirements. This process of monitoring and assessing the performance is called control quality. The control quality process ensures if the project deliverables are complete, compliant, fit to use and perform the intended function efficiently. All the quality related attributes and variables are measured and controlled. Control quality process must be performed throughout the project.
