Impact/influence grid is used to group the stakeholders on the basis of their influence on the project outcomes and the impacts on the overall project. Influence denotes the ability of the stakeholder to affect the outcomes of the project. Impact refers to the effect of the stakeholders on the overall project on the basis of which changes are made in the project planning and general execution. Impact/influence grid is usually used for small scale projects having simple relationships with the project stakeholders.
