An individual who is responsible to perform all these tasks is called contract administrator. The need for contract administrator depends upon the size of the contract. As large contracts are more prone to issues and problems, a contract administrator is needed to resolve the issues and ambiguities. The functions of a contract administrator includes warranties, waivers, contract breach, payment schedules, project termination, subcontractor management, project closeout etc.
