Electrophile Notes:
An electrophile can be defined as a species that is positively charged or electron deficient. This means that it needs an electron due to which it will accept an electron pair. It can also be a neutral species having vacant orbitals that are attracted to a centre that is rich in electrons. An electrophile bonds with a nucleophile by accepting a pair of electrons from it. These reactions have great importance in organic chemistry.
