Energy Levels Definition:
Regions at various distances from the nucleus where electrons have a particular amount of energy are called energy levels.

Energy Levels Notes:
Energy level can be considered as a region in an atom where an electron is found. The electron present in that particular energy level has a particular energy. Electrons in an atom are contained in specific energy levels (1, 2, 3, and so on). These energy levels are at different distances from the nucleus. The larger the number of the energy level, the farther it is from the nucleus. Electrons present in the highest energy level are called valence electrons.
