Vacuole Notes:

Vacuoles are defined as being present within the cytoplasm of a cell embedded by a membrane, commonly be composed of fluid. Vacuole derives from the French word that stands for " little vaccum". Contractile vacuoles expand at a time when water enters, shrinked and contract after filling with water, bringing water along with wastes material outside of the cell. So, the step involved in contraction of water is called diastole while second step that carrying wastes outside is systole. For example, amoeba, paramecium and some types of algae.
