Through evaporation water is being lost from surface. The process of loss of water takes place by means of stomata in leaves, leaf epidermis as well as particular opening called lenticles, present in the stems of plants. It is estimated that almost 90% of the water that get enterance is lost through transpiration. Th transpiration usually occurs through stomata and known as stomatal transpiration.
