Bubo Notes:
Bubo is an inflammation or adenitis of the lymph nodes and is a type of reactive lymphadenopathy. Buboes appear as painful swellings in the neck, armpits, thighs and groin and are a symptom of bubonic plague. Yersinia pestis is a bacterium that is a causative agent and is spread from fleabites and enter the lymph nodes through blood stream.
