Ascogenous Hypha Notes:
This type of hyphae, in Ascomycota's fungi, originates in the ascogonium after it gets fused with the antheridium. Ascogenous hyphae contain binucleate cells that consist of one nucleus from female ascogonium and other nucleus from male antheridium. These give rise to a single ascus or more than one asci.
