Homologs Notes:

Homologs is another name for homologous chromosomes. It is a pair of chromosomes having the same genes however they might not be 100% identical. One copy of the chromosome is inherited by the mother and the other one is inherited from the father and while they may have the same genes, they might have different alleles. Therefore they're said to be similar but not identical.
