There are several reliability models used in the reliability studies. The most common model is bath tub hazard function. It is a graphical reliability model. The vertical axis (y axis) of the bath tub hazard function shows the failure rate i.e. the frequency of a product's failure. The horizontal axis (x axis) shows the time.
