360 Degree Evaluation Notes:
The concept of total quality management is to apply the notion of continuous improvement in quality at all levels within the organization, not only in product and production processes. For this reason, organizations now perceive quality with different perspectives. One of the perspectives is human resources. An organization tries to achieve quality in the performance of employees. To improve the performance of human resource, it is important to first evaluate their performance and then find areas of improvement. A method of performance evaluation used nowadays is called 360-Degree evaluation which involves all the people associated with an employee to help evaluate his/her performance. This feedback process not only asks the supervisors to comment on the performance but also enables colleagues, subordinates and even customers in some cases to mention the positives and negatives of an employee's performance.
