Critical Path Notes:

Usually network diagrams for large projects are complex and involve a large number of activities. A network diagram consists of different paths from start to end of the project. The activities of each path have different time durations. The longest path in terms of total time is called critical path. The activities in the critical path must be completed in order to complete the project. There are different ways to identify the critical path of the network diagram. One way is through the least slack calculations. The earliest finish time of each activity is subtracted from the latest finish time. The activities with the lowest value is considered to be the activities of the critical path.
