Context diagram visually depicts the product scope by showing a business system and how people and other systems interact with it.

Context Diagram Notes:
After defining scope and collecting project requirements, the scope and requirements must be modelled or diagrammed. One way of doing this is to draw a context diagram. A context diagram is generally used to show the scope of the product or project. It involves the inputs and outputs of the system and the system's interaction with the external and internal factors. In a context diagram, the business system is defined which involves the processes, equipment etc. The inputs to the system and the factors providing and affecting the inputs are shown. The outputs of the system along with the factors/actors that receive the outputs are also depicted in the context diagram.
