The urinary bladder is a organ that is hollow and muscular in humans and some other animals that collects and stores urine from the kidneys before removal through urine. The urinary bladder sits on the pelvic floor in humans. Urine enters the bladder via the ureters and exits via the urethra. The normal human bladder will hold between around 500 mL before the urge to empty occurs or you till one has to urinate however the bladder can hold much more. Urine collects in the bladder, fed from the two ureters that connect the bladder with the kidneys.
