Nucleic acids Notes:
Nucleic acids are small biopolymers that form the genetic material of essentially all known forms of life. They are polymers that form DNA or RNA that carry the genetic information. They are composed of nucleotide monomers which are themselves made of three components namely a 5-carbon sugar, a nitrogenous base and a phosphate group.
