Anaplerotic Reactions Notes:
Anaplerotic reactions are those chemical reactions, which form TCA cycle intermediates (tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates) which were once depleted. These intermediates are from a metabolic pathway, and examples of these intermediates are present in the TCA cycle i.e. the citric acid cycle.
