Cell Mediated Notes:
Cell mediated immunity involves the activation of antigen-specific cytotoxic T- lymphocytes, phagocytes, resulting in the release of various cytokines against the antigen. This immunity response does not involve antibodies. The function of cell-mediated immunity is the immunization associated with cells. Protection is provided against various pathogens by CD4 Cells or helper T cells.
