Managing Quality: Integrating the Supply Chain by S. Thomas Foster
Qualitative Audit Notes:
\Usually, the factors that can be quantified are audited in an organization. These include financial audits, performance audits etc. However, audits can sometimes be qualitative. Qualitative audits focus on comparing the organization's current status in relation to the structural measures. Structural measures involve the policies, objectives, goals and procedures followed by an organization. Qualitative audits also consider the behavioral aspects e.g. decision making, employee morale, employee satisfaction etc. For example, a qualitative audit will focus on comparing the objectives an organization established and its current performance regarding the actions taken to achieve those objectives. The comparison of a firm's performance in relation to a contract made with another firm is also an example of qualitative audit.
