Job Lots Notes:
Parcel estimate is the measure of a decent created at the one time. Part estimate is a significant issue in lean assembling, as enormous parcel sizes and high setup costs drive cluster creation and 'push' stock into the inventory network. For instance, assuming a salesman requests 250 business cards, being a year's figure use, yet is informed that the most financial print run is 500 cards. The setup cost causes two years stock to be held, and no doubt the sales rep will change work before the cards run out.
