Product Design Engineering Notes:

When quality is in question, it is important to understand that quality must be assured at the start of the process i.e. at the design phase. The benefit of this practice is that the problems regarding quality in the design are detected at an early stage, thus saving time and money. One way of doing it is to adopt the practice of Product Design Engineering. It is a type of Engineering which is related to a series of activities starting from conception phase to the final product design. The stages involved in this process are conception, preliminary design, prototype, final design, design evaluation and implementation.
