Durability Notes:

Durability is a product quality dimension that shows the length of a product's life. A product is considered of high quality if it can endure more wear and tear during its life cycle without failing completely. The customers usually perceive that low cost products are less durable but this is not always the case. However, when the product is of low cost and less durable, it has to be changed again and again from time to time and ultimately all these cost add up making the product high cost and less durable. For example, paper products are less durable while an automobile is a durable product.
