Award Audit Notes:
When organizations apply for a quality award e.g. Baldrige Award, state quality awards, customer awards etc., site visits are made to verify and validate the information provided by the organization with its application. These site visits are a part of award process. An organization while applying for a specific award makes some claims. These claims are documented in the form of proofs and are attached with the applications. During the award process, site visits are made to check the validity of those claims. The visits are called award audits. When the audit team verifies the information to be true, the specific award can be granted to the organization.
