Auditing Standard Definition:

Auditing Standard Notes:

To perform efficient and effective audits, there must be some established standards that should be met. A standard is a criterion or a level which is used in comparison analysis. While performing audits, an auditing standard should be set against which the performance is compared. There are some pre-defined standards in case of auditing. The first one is that an auditor must possess the relevant knowledge to effectively perform the audit function. The second standard is that personal opinions of the auditor must be kept aside to ensure impartiality in the auditing process. The third standard is to develop the necessary reports of the audit and to monitor the processes in a professional way.
