There are many different situations when an organization needs to work closely with other organizations, parties or individuals to get things done. This help can be achieved by developing partnerships. Partnerships aid in working together for an objective that benefits both the parties. Partnership is needed when complex projects are carried out and it can be internal and external. When the partner belongs to outside the organization, it is referred to as external partnership. Many different types of external partnerships exist. One of them is called strategic partnership. Strategic partnership is an advance form of partnership.
