Product Analysis Notes:
Products or services associated to the project must be identified and designed. A way to define the products on the basis of their use, characteristics, functions etc. is called product analysis. Product analysis involve asking questions about the product or service and formulate answers based on the important aspects of the product that are to be delivered. Requirements of a project are determined at high-level and product analysis is used to define in detail the products or deliverables associated to the particular requirement. Different product analysis techniques can be used. Some of them are product breakdown, systems analysis, systems engineering, value analysis and engineering etc.
