Audit Notes:
Before starting a project, the project is planned by considering the project objective, organization objective, policies and procedures etc. Even the project at later stages of its life cycle must comply with the above mentioned aspects. To check this compliance, an audit is performed. Audits can be internal (performed by the individual/s of the organization/project) or external (performed by an outside team). One of the type of audits is called quality audit and it plays a great role in the quality management of a project. A quality audit is usually an external audit to identify the best practices adopted within the project, the shortcomings, providing guidelines and assistance to adopt good practices that have been adopted in previous similar projects etc. Quality audits can be random or scheduled and confirm if the corrective actions have been taken and the recommended changes have been implemented.
