Resource Requirements Notes:
After the activities are defined, the resources needed for the project are determined. This is called identifying the resource requirements. Resources can be material, equipment, human resources etc. Each activity involves a different set of resources for successful completion. Resource requirements determine the type and quantity of resources that are needed for an activity. Usually, the lowest level of the work breakdown structure is considered and resources requirement of a work package is identified. These requirements are then combined to determine the resource requirements of the higher level of activities and ultimately the overall project. The documentation of resource requirements is a must and typically include the type, quantity and availability of the required resources.
