Opportunities are the positives of a SWOT analysis. An organization that is faced with a lot of opportunities is a lucky one. Projects associated with the organizations also realize opportunities and try to exploit them. These opportunities can be both internal and external. Different strategies are used to deal with the opportunities. One of them is called enhance strategy. As the name indicates, the enhance strategy tends to increase the likelihood of occurrence of a particular opportunity, ultimately increasing its impact/effect. This strategy is usually applied to high priority opportunities. It is better to enhance the opportunities at an early stage rather than enhancing the benefits associated with the opportunity after the opportunity has occurred. The situations in which opportunity enhancement is not possible, the factors that increase the benefit must be enhanced.
