Risks in project are inevitable. After identification of potential risks, the risks must be analyzed. The analysis of risks involve the prioritization of the project risks, their probability of occurrence and their impacts on the project. This process is called qualitative risk analysis. Based on risk analysis, the risks can be prioritized for the development of correction actions. The topics involved in the qualitative risk analysis are subjective and a numerical value cannot be given to them. This is due to the fact that the risks assessment is based on the perception of the project team and the key stakeholders. Risk analysis also identifies the person who will be responsible to plan the response for a particular risk.
