Different reports are prepared throughout the project. One of them is progress report. A progress report shows the progress of the project in order to achieve the objective. Progress reports are prepared for a specific time period. This time period is known as reporting period which can be daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly, depending upon the project size. Progress reports do not include the activities that the designated member performed during the reporting period but they show how much work has been accomplished in that period. The items that are to be included in the progress reports are accomplishments, current status of the performance, any problem encountered during the work, corrective actions, and milestones that are expected to be achieved till the next reporting period.
