Functional Requirements Notes:
Requirements can be categorized by an organization into two categories; business requirements and technical requirements. Further classification of the requirements can be made. One of the classes is solution requirements. Solution requirements are further divided into two groups. One of the groups is called functional requirements. Functional requirements give the features and characteristics of a product or service. Functional requirements are related to the technicalities of the product. Functional requirements should be clear, testable and simple. Functional requirements relate to the ability of a product to perform its intended function. These can include processes, data, product's interaction with other components etc.
